Those Teeth!!

hi all!
so i have quite the challenge here! my 9 mos old dd has two very large and sharp teeth up top ( and many more )! the top are the problem for mama, though. it's not that she's biting me, i think she uses her teeth to nurse so there is constant pressure from them on my nipple. it broke the skin on my left breast i've had to stop bf on that side so it can heal. i've been pumping to keep my milk supply up, but now the same thing is happening on my right side.
what to do?? she's still exclusively bf with very little interest in solids. has this happened to anyone and if so what did you do?
i'm constantly applying lanolin, and calendula and breastmilk. it's all helping but she's a constant nurser! also, she's not really into the pumped milk ... she won't take a bottle and she'll drink just a little from a cup so i've been freezing it, so will my other breast be able to keep up w/ her demand?

Try frequent position changes...I nurse with my8 mo old sitting on my lap facing me (so his legs go to either side of me...tummy to tummy), cross cradel, you could even do football hold- change it up, so the pressure gets distributed tall over instead of always in the one usual spot.

Is her latch as good as it can get?? My guy's got lots of teeth too, and if I can feel them on my nipple I undo the latch and run my nipple down from his nose over his top lip like I did when he was a newborn to get him to open for it and get a good latch.

That's all I can think of for now, I hope other mamas have more!

hi. thanks so much. i'll def give some new positions a try and stick with them for a while. she usually loves that! i'm pretty sure her latch is good but ya never know and now that she has those teeth maybe her latch isn't as good as i thought because i always feel them.
