I am having these pain in my vaginal area. It feels like I hit myself on the bar of a boys bike or like someone is stabbing me in that area. I can't remember feeling this with the boys and I was wondering if anyone else is feeling like this? (sorry that the descripation is not very good but I don't know how to describe the pains.)

I had that yesterday but it's gone today. It hurt SO bad to just roll over or get up. I used ice, baby didn't like it, but it worked pretty well and it's gone now. I think it was just my ligaments stretching out. My other joints were also pretty sore. Yesterday was the only day I considered taking Tylenol but I resisted

I'm having a pain I guess from my pubic bone that I would describe as stabbing, esp when I step w/ my left leg. It comes and goes, and is bearable but ouch! I think it's a ligament thing?

I think that is a very good description of the pain. I have it too and have been told it is the seperation of the pubis smyphonis, a band of thick ligaments in the front of your pelvis. It holds the pelvis together. During pregnancy, your body makes the hormone relaxin, which does what it says. All the ligaments relax to make room for babe to move through easily.

What I found helps is: avoiding stairs, sleeping with pillow between knees, avoiding uneven ground like sand, carefully bending at knees to pick up stuff, ice and ice and ice. Ice really feels good! Also, try to avoid lifting heavy objects that can cause strain on your body. The pelvis carries a lot of your body's weight and especially when pregnant.

Hope this helps!
