I am making some for my nephew's Xmas this year - I'm going to try making them spherical, with a 2-foot tail of colored ribbons so when you throw them, they look like a comet. I have a ton of rice so that is what I am stuffing them with.

Someone suggested poly beads, if you want to make em' washable... It would work...

when I saw this thread, I was thinking you were trying to make bean bag chairs.. I'd like to see a pattern for that!

Great thread! i am making some at the moment, and i am making covers for them in case they do get dirty but i just realized i dont' know how to make an envelope anyone care to share w/me how to do it : ?? Please??

I've had bean bags started for ummmm.....

2 years now


and this thread is inspiring me to finish at least a few of them up for stocking stuffers!! Thanks for the inspiration.
