Does anyone have/had blood stained mucus? Its definately not a mucus plug, there is blood in the mucus, the kind of mucus that is just there, especially in the last part of pregnancy. My cervix is not doing a whole lot. Along with this I have some very low cramps, not contractions. There is no amnionitic fluid.
The mw is not worried, but what the heck is going on? This is the second day in a row, and the second time. I had the same thing happen last sun/mon and then it went away, only to return yesterday and today.
Walking does not make things progress. In fact, the cramps go away from walking. I'm 38 weeks.
Anyone have any ideas/experiences with this? My last labour was straight forward and uncomplicated so this is weird and a bit of a tease!

and a plug really looks formed, like a plug that really did fit into a cervix opening. And because there is mucus present all the time, its always tinged red or pink. A plug has been a one time deal in the last 2 pregnancies at which point some kind of contractions ensued (even the 2nd time which was a m/c). I have no contractions yet
