"Nuh zeeee! Nuhs! Nuhs!!!"

Lately, maybe the last week or so, it feels like EVERY time my 19 month old son sees me he wants "nuh zeee." I like nursing him - I'm glad he nurses. But is this my sole purpose?

If we're at home, there is no putting him off. We have to sit immediately and nurse. When we're out and about, he's usually more flexible (distractable).

We do have fun in other ways. He likes to read books and do other things with "mom meeeeeee." But sometimes I think he sees me as just a big nursie.

Anyone else ever get tired of this?

Yep, I hear ya sister! I remember those days....just a few short months ago, actually. This too shall pass! I know it's hard to imagine now, but soon you'll actually wish for a just a few minutes of sweet nursies with your son.

It's definitely okay to set some limits if you need them for your own sanity. I eventually started telling my dd she had to wait until after I made dinner, etc. She protested but quickly adjusted.

Hang in there! You're not alone.
