still going with my twins and they turned one!

Yeah! I guess I am looking for some pats on the back because my twin boys turned one on Thursday and we are still going strong with bf. I didn't think I could do it this long but we did.

They got sick on their birthday, kinda still are- diaherra, vomitting, etc. The doctor told me to stop bf for a while and give them pedialyte and juice. What does he know?

It seems like all they want is bm these last few days.

I love lurking on this board and getting advice and support.

Thanks Mamas!

Way to go . My twins will be one in May and I can't imagine stopping bfing any time soon. Isn't it amazing to nurse twins?

P.S. There's a parenting multiples forum under the parenting forum (just in case you're interested).

Great!!

I am glad you knew that breastmilk was the best thing for a sick baby (or two ) and didn't listen to your doctor about the pedialyte.:

Good for you Tawyna!!! Your boys are lucky you know more than your doc about breastfeeding. That's so frustrating that peds are like that. I should say some peds. My 15 month old son just recently went through a serious bout of diarrhea and vomitting, and both of my peds kept saying - "Keep nursing - keep nursing." There are some good ones out there!
