They just changed EVERYTHING since last year.

This makes what I bought last year almost completely irrelevant, so I can't really sell it or use it again.

Rats!!! :

I am sorry that they changed everything on you but can I asked how you liked it? I am considering buy the Pre-k for my DD next year. We love to read and it seems like we would really enjoy it. Any advice?

I thought it was so-so. I like that they have everything planned out for you (i'm a single SAHM and don't have much time for planning), and I love their book list. I think the way they have their website is confusing, and I think their stuff is WAY expensive.

What core level? I just checked Core 1 (which I bought 2 years ago), and it's still virtually identical. The website has changed, but the books included in that grade level are the same. In fact, I don't see *any* changes in the core books. Hmmm. And, I only see two changes in the Core K program since I bought it 3 years ago.

I didn't notice any huge changes either, but maybe I'm missing something? :

I thought Sonlight was a good program, just not good for us. Too much reading in the higher cores for my DD and I found it difficult to weed out the religion. This year we are doing a much looser literature based program set up by me I am using the Sonlight lists as a reference along with
