We ave a Katherine Marie (call her Kate or Katie) and Grace Elisheva

I really like Cadence, but Cade is too close to Kate. And Caris, but it means Grace (poo)

I like Ainsley, Annaliese, Rachel, Alison and Kirsten for a girl.

Josiah, Andrew, Christian, Jameson and Grayson for boys.

My DH and I have been having issues about it for a girl he likes

Kornelia Thyme
Grietje Dael(both names are dutch)
Hendrika Sophia

And I like for girls
Rebbekah Vittoria or Rebbekah Sophia
Suzette Maria
Samara Franscesca
Reannon Natalia

And we are sure we're having another girl...

I keep adding boy names, but hardly even thinking of girl names!

I wonder what that means.....?

Either I'm having a girl and she already knows her name or I'm having a boy and will have to obsess over boy names for the next 35 weeks! Not that that's a bad thing.
I find boy names so much easier than girl names. I hear new ones that I like farily often. But with girls, I can only think of one or two. Anyone else find one sex harder to name than the other?
I love name threads
ok so for girls we would need something that flows with the other two girls (sophia & emma)

we are debating over
Abigail Grace
Fiona Grace
Sarah Grace
Mia Grace ( I really like Mia but it I think it sounds too similar to emma?)

boys:
DH wants a Jr. I will really fight this one
Brandon Lee

Well, as of right now we have pretty much decided, but that doesn't mean much in the first tri. We are definite on the boy, but girl could change.

Our last name is single syllable, starts with D and is Irish

Bodhi Foster D
Bodhi Michael D
or
Bodhi Marshall D
(Middles are all family names , not sure if we will use one of these or something else...)
~But isn't Bodhi awesome!!?? Everyone is predicting a boy too, so maybe we won't have to stress about the girl names...

Berkeley (not really sure on middle) maybe Scott? Anna?

My list has been long and varied, but these are the names that dh likes too!

Some girl names I have liked...

Laurel
Kaia
Cora
Hazel
Fiona
Finnuala
Moira

All shot down by dh. Well not really. Cora and Kaia were good but he likes Berkeley more. Laurel he likes but he knows a "hot banker" by that name. lol

LOL ... I'm rather partial to Bodhi (Bodi) *and* Fiona!

Berkeley is an awesome name, too, and Finnuala was on our short list with dd.

I personally thing that names of English & Irish derivation sound best with our last name, but I think dh wants something German this time ... we'll see!

Boys names are really hard for us. Too bad we think we are having one!

I wanted to name the baby Hermione if she's a girl, but DH says no freaking way. I'm still sneaking the Harry Potter names is.

If we have a girl,
Molly Elisabeth

If we have boy,
Something (Nathaniel?) James

Our favorite boy name:
Xander Axel N______
Zander Axel N______

I like it w/ a "Z" better, because I think it balances out the "X" in Axel. DH really wanted an "A" middle name so his initials would also spell out his NN which will be "Xan" or "Zan".

Favorite girl names:
Tallulah Grey N______ (NN "Lulu" and "Lula")
Paisley Grey N______
Just had to admire your taste -- my 4-year-old is Sorin Sebastian!

Edit: oops, just re-read your post -- duh, I thought those names were on your list. But I'm glad you like them anyway!

Me too, sort of!
Well, I figure I'll be joining you all once I have the confidence to call it!

So, we also picked our names a long time ago, and while for some unforseen reason they may change (like me urging for a 3rd name), this is what we have settled with:

Justin Andrew [family name on DP's side], and I might push for Ingvar to be added, depending on how my Grandfather does in the next 9 months. My EDD would be 1 day after his birthday {April 23}, and he's currently in the hospital.

or...

Sadie Madeleine (currently a varient of my DP's middle name [Madeline], which will be legally changed before the birth to a male name), and I would push for Luna (cause I love the moon) or Norah (my deseased maternal grandmother).

Boy:

Quinn Herrick (we both LOVE Quinn, and Herrick is family name, DH is distantly related to the poet Robert Herrick)

Girl:

We have had the name Annika FOREVER (actually I chose it when I was about 17), and DH loves it. But I am starting to think maybe its been in our heads a little TOO long. Plus, our daughter may very well have very dark hair, and I am having a hard time picturing Annika with dark hair.

I also like Celeste and Helena pronounced Helen-uh, no idea on middle names yet.

We are pretty sure this is a boy, BTW.

Girls:
Chloe
Ava
Ella
Ellie
Teagan

Boys:
Noah
Alexander
Andrew?

I dunno, boys names are hard for me.

My MIL hated all our name choices when I told her, but I didn't mind. I knew she would. She suggested Jessy for a girl. Hhhmm....not spectacular, but nothing wrong with it....but then I started thinking.....she used to have a cat named Jessy. I am not naming my child after their dead cat and I think it's hilarious that she would even suggest it! The sad thing is, she was being totally serious, like it would be a nice tribute. I'm not saying how many, but I'll just say that she has ALOT of cats.

I haven't started thinking about names yet with this one...

Last time, our names were:
GIRL - Amari Rose J...
BOY - Reid Harlan J...

If we have a boy this time, his name will be Reid Harlan.
If we have a girl, we'll have to think up a new girl name. *sigh*
