Ah Timmy Timmy Timmy, my confusing son : I want to homeschool him, have decided to homeschool him.....he's angry, wants to go back to public school for 1st grade next year. Yet he wouldn't let me leave him at vacation bible school yesterday?

Sounds like he is searching for boundaries. I am sure if you are firm about your plans, he will fall in line.

What does he think he will get from ps that he may be wanting?

I don't think he knows. I've arranged for him to be in scouting with his 3 best buddies from kindergarten, I told him we can get up and pack his lunch and go walk around the neighborhood then arrive back at "school". I think he's just in love with the idea of "going to school".
