So...I thought I'd check it out...Very cute. Kinda expensive too. Can anyone tell me about their experience with this pattern and about the fit?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I just bought her pattern and the 'shoe' pattern.
The only issue with her pattern is that I wish it was printed with different colored lines, as the pattern is layered with all the diper sizes AND the soaker pieces on top of each other, in black and white and shades of gray, with slight variations on the way the lines look. This will be very difficult to trace unless you have practically clear tracing paper, or use the 'copy paper' sheet sandwich technique, where you draw heavily over the lines and hope it copies well (I hate doing that).
If you look close, YES, there are differences in the lines, but it's still 'eye blurring' to do. I am a 'trace onto a new piece of paper, and cut that' kind of mom to save the pattern intact, so that's gonna be fun!
I am still in the 'tracing' all the patterns/soakers stage and have yet to get to the cutting fabric stage! Then I got side tracked with making some serged flats and ...well...you know
Plus toddlers have their own idea of how my day should be spent...
It looks to be a nice pattern and when I manage to actually get a few sewn, I'm sure I'll love the trim, below belly fit (reminds me of swaddlebees).
The shoe pattern is also calling to me, as I have some real suede my mom had in her 'stash' that I inherited. So I hope to make some adorable shoes for all the babies (the size is from new born up to 4 year old or such).
If I get into the sewing of it, before you do and I see no updates, I'll post my results!
On a side note, the free side snapping cover she offers on her site prints well on your computer, and geez, it's got the nicely colored lines for easier use! HAhah...oh well. I printed it off and hope to compare it to another side snapping cover pattern I actually paid for already!

Oh thanks for the info!! I just spent 30 minutes cutting it out (the freebie one) and getting ready to trace the individual sizes!! GEEZ they sound WAY too big....mmmmm My '1 inch' square box was slightly smaller than 1", but it was 'consistantly smaller on all sides' so that might help it be closer to what I need. I will check it definitely before sewing with the nice fabric I was going to use!
Maybe I could make some adult diper pants out of it.
haha
Ok, guess I"ll try the purchased pattern first! Thank you again, I was about to cut some of my pretty print PUL next and would have been annoyed to say the least....!
