If you use fitteds (and I'll have to use *something* since it is too easy to miss one when you have two), do you prefer snaps or velcro? I was wanting snap fitteds so no diaper trains in the dryer and no scratching baby accidentally, but I am starting to realize that they are slower to get off. Will this be a prob?

This is why I took the plunge and started ECing virtually all the time; because by the time I layed dd on the change table and got her diap off, she started to pee right then and there. It was more frustrating than anything being able to tell when she had to pee but not being able to get her to the sink in time. BUT, I have just one.
I would say velcro is quicker. But I also know what a pain it can be.
I'm not sure what to advise.

While I found it faster to get velcro off, I hated that he always had to be lying down to get anything back on. Also, the sound of pulling apart velcro is really loud. I've ended up preferring snaps at least by the time babe is crawling, but it's really just a personal preference and YMMV. I also don't mind using onesies with snap crotches for ECing, and lots of mommas think they are a pain.

I think I'll stick with the snaps. I just like them. I do use onesies but unless we go out I'll keep them unsnapped so I can feel the dipe to see if I missed a pee/poo.

I don't have a problem with snaps, I start unsnapping dd while carrying her to the potty.
I prefer snaps b/c dd got scratched by the velcro.

I like the snaps myself. I also start unsnapping on the way to the potty
