Avandia or Avandamet while nursing a toddler?

The last post on Dr. Hale's site (2004) indicates that safety while nursing is not yet known.

Anyone have the 2006 Hale's or any other help? The child nurses only a couple times a day. I know Metformin is OK, but Avandia/Avandamet? Thanks!

the 2006 book lists that it has not been studied. Molecular weight is pretty low, but protein binding is at 99.8%. Oral viability is 99%.

sorry I am not much help as i have not heard anything about this med before.
