Just wondering how old everyone's babies were when you stared EC.

We started just before 2 months with my current little one.

We didn't do EC per se with DD1, but we started helping her potty when she was about 18 months old, and she's fully trained except for night now at 24 months.

We started at about 3 months with my DD and she is a complete grad now, night and day, taking herself to the potty etc etc, since 20 months.

Jumped in diaper-free at 5.5 mos and doing GREAT at 8.5 now

We started at 5 months, but using diaper back-up the whole time. We're very good at catching BMs, rarely miss, but the wet diapers have gotten much worse since he hit about 15 months. At 19 months now and finally moved into the new house, I'm hoping to take the plunge and go diaper-free to help both of us learn to catch the pees.

Just started a few days ago with DD (she is 11 months), and we are slowly working our way into it. Right now, I put her on the potty right after she eats or wakes up to see if I can catch something. She tends to poop a few minutes after eating, so I have been able to catch 1 or 2 of those a day and a few pees. I figure if nothing else, she will at least be familiar with the potty and not afraid of it like DS was. Still working on training with him at 3y8m, and am hoping that both of them can kind of learn from each other.

We started around the 2 month mark. DS is now 7 1/2 months and going strong. He's been sleeping through the night since around 2 months or so. We had some major success last night... A dry diaper in the morning. I was in shock to say the least! I put that diaper on him at 8pm and at midnight when he woke i took him to the bathroom and back into the same diaper until morning. Low and behold he was still dry at 915am.

We catch about 75% of pees during the day and 100% of the poops. He usually only poops first thing in the morning every other day.

We started when DD was 10 months old. I didn't know about EC at the time, we just sort of started doing it naturally (I could TELL when she needed to go) and then I did some research because my Mom told me that she knew some people from England who'd done it, so I figured there had to be info about it out there... and then I found it here, too!

We started at 5 months with Joseph. He is now 15 months and we are definatly having some problems with focus. We have recently missed a couple of poops, which hasn't really happened since we started. The peepee's is where we really have trouble, but we have been moving around a lot, so maybe that is why.

DS was 10 weeks when we started. Diaper backup for a few weeks, then nakey at home and dipes when out or at daycare. Ditched night-time dipes when DS started staying dry for 9+ hours at about 4mo. Ditched dipes completely and went to trainers or undies when out at 7 months. Used a wool cover for a bit when I got too stressed about misses, then quit using that because it's just too bulky and hot for summer.

Now we have our really really good days (sometimes we can go 24+ hours without a single miss!) and our really really bad days (sometimes we can go 24+ hours without a single catch! LOL) Leaning towards mostly good days at 12 months, but DS gets really busy playing and just poops wherever he is way too often. He's just about to start walking, so hopefully the situation will improve after that HUGE milestone.

Started at birth with baby dd, although we used diaper backup and I was rather lax about it, Buckling down now and doing well at 6 mo. My first child, ds, we started at 15 mo. No dipes after 18 mo, grad around 2 1/2. First dd started at 2 mo, diaper free at 12 mo, grad around 2 or so. Don't remember for sure.

We started at 5weeks, nakey at home and nights and diaper or training pants back up for outings

I put in 2-4 months, dd is just 2 months and a week today and we started observing on Monday and peeing and pooing in the sink on Tuesday...
I'm amazed at how easy this is!
