My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
To anyone looking for a carrier, BECO is the brand!
I recently had purchased the Gemini, great carrier! It has everything you will ever need and want, its ergonomic, comfy, organic, made...
Is it true that if you sleep on your belly it can affect your milk supply? I don't know where I heard that before, but I've only heard it once so I'm not sure if its BS or not. That would suck if its true cuz thats the easiest way I fall asleep...
I couldn't sleep on my belly when I was nursing. I don't know if what you heard is true, but it seems sort of logical. Binding the breasts is a way to stop milk production, and laying on your stomach could simulate binding...but what *seems* logical, isn't always logical.:
Maybe try google?
I dunno, the only place I've ever heard it is the WTE books : I like to read them to see how the crazy's think! I always sleep on my belly unless I fall asleep nursing and I haven't had any problems.
I couldn't do it early on- nor would I want to. I wouldve turned the mattress into a water bed.
But at some point I was able to switch over. Probably around the time I stopped wearing a bra all the time and switched to sleep bras, just a t shirt or tank.
HTH
I always sleep on my belly, and my milk supply is still strong after 2 years. I couldn't sleep that way when I was still recovering from childbirth and my milk was just coming in...too sore. But besides that, never had a problem.
I couldn't sleep on my belly because it hurt my boobies early on, but after several months I can and do sleep on my belly all the time and it hasn't hurt my supply or caused any plugged ducts or anything. I think it may have in the early days of nursing though.
