I just came into some beautiful fabrics from our neighbor who works at an upscale home fabrics shop. I want to make some top treatments for our dining and living rooms and was wondering if anyone had any good reference/idea books or had made them themselves? How about flat roman shades? They look pretty easy. Anyone?

Commercial patterns are available for all sorts of window treatments. Check your local fabric store.

Go have a lookie-loo in a few department stores near you, I've seen some great ideas in Bed bath and beyond! (they have a website but I don't know if they have pics of the window treatments)
