is it a strike?

DD is screaming and crying her eyes out at me when I try to nurse her. She is 2 months old and DS who is 2 yo just got over strep throat...but DD doesn't have a temp or is acting sick - just not wanting to nurse...she also just found her thumb and is sucking away like it is the best thing in the world...could she be on strike from the boob because of her thumb sucking? or am I missing a possible soar throat even though there are no other signs of illness?...I'm pumping and 'trick' nursing her when she's asleep/about to sleep, but it's not long before she wakes up crying and detaches...help :

How long has this been happening? Does she get a bottle?

I doubt she has strep. I get it every year and my babies have never gotten it--though my 10 year old does.

the stike is over!

must have been a confusion with her thumbs? or a sore mouth or something....whatever it was its over now...3 days of barely nursing...it's my third strike so I knew what to do in terms of 'sneaking' in a nursing here and there when she was sleeping or about to sleep and pump when I had to...but still stressful :
