I am just wondering if you could tell me about your days? I just recently got used copies of Oak Meadow PS books and love them.
Thanks for sharing

Our days are very unstructured. The TV stays off and I pretty much let the kids play/learn on their own. My 4 yo is really into clay, playdough, things like that. He plays a lot with that kind of stuff. He also loves legos and will spend hours playing with those. Of course when it's nice we're outside for most of the day. We go to the library once/week in the winter and every other week in the spring/summer. My 4 yo has chosen to take gymnastics so we do that one morning/week. We do alot of arts and crafts but nothing that's specifically layed out for him. He loves learning/reading about reptiles so those are usually the books he chooses from the library. We are currently learning about the solar system (his choice) and are working on a model of the planets. So, that's about it. Good luck to you and have fun! We love it!

Thank you ekblad7
This makes me feel better we do the same.....some days I just feel like I am doing "nothing"....lol...
I really do love this "style' of learning though too...it seems to really just flow with everything else I have done with parenting my ds. My mother did a lot of things Waldorf with me (in the early 70's)and never even knew it exsisted.....

Ask the regulars here, I am constantly posting threads about feeling like my kids aren't taught enough. Then I'll have days like the other day when my 4 yo picked up a book and started reading it to me! It wasn't a big, long book or anything but still...I never specifically sat down and taught him any of his letters, sounds, nothing. Our society has us believing that kids must be taught but really they just must be given the environment to learn.
