Lampshade skirt-how cute is that!

If you have a girl look at this adorable skirt:

It's called a lampshade skirt. Maybe you've seen something like it before, but I never have.

I've made skirts like that for both DD's and I didn't even know they had a name! It is just a great way to use up scraps.

I've also used cloth napkins--sometimes you can get them really cheap in thrift stores but there aren't enough for the table.

I also used a pair of cafe curtains once that already had the pom poms on it. They were super-cute and kitschy. DD#1 loved it.

Oh, I wish I had taken pictures of everything I've made over the years.

This is super easy to make. Just put strips together for the skirt, make an elastic casing, hem and add trim
