given one more day. back to the homeopathics. phew I barely avoided that induction. This has been 24 hrs of an emotional roller coaster. Here is to labour tonight for all of us

carla- hoping for labor for you! If the docs are really worried about your fluid levels, have they talked about an infusion? I would take that over an induction. Make sure you are drinking plenty too. It cant hurt to stay hydrated!

Great! I went to the homeopath today as well and got some remedies which I've started on. I am crossing my fingers that your remedies work for you!

They don't do infusions were I live. only in the larger hospitals. gel pack scheduled for 4 oclock today as I have had no change in cervix. I have been so crampy today though but I thik time has run out I have been in mourning for my home birth today. I feel like I am going to go into labour tonight but I have been saying that now for a couple weeks. I get crampy and contractions I expect to wake up in labour but I don't.

Zimmee what are your care providers doing. Are they ok with you being 42 weeks? I thought I had till 43 weeks here but the pressure was turned on early.

Carla, go get an acupuncture treatment quick!! They have specific spots to help with triggering labour!
carla- I second the accupuncture. That is my next step. I have been doing all the natural stuff, sex, walking, nipple stimulation. I also started doing a homeopathic, and I had a reflexology treatment. If all else fails I will do castor oil maybe on Sunday (ewwww...) I would have her sweep my membranes, but Im not even a finger tip dialated and you need to be able to get something up in there.

My mw is fine waiting as long as I am comfortable waiting. I never researched this possibility. It honestly never occured to me that I could go too long. I am not sure how far is "okay" to go. I know I am comfortable up to 43 weeks, I'm just wondering what happens after that, though. KWIM?

so who is left?!?!?! There can't be too many of us since it's September 1st already!!! Where has all of that time gone?!?!
I am still here...we need to start a "late to the September" DDC!!!
Im still here. I am encouraged because I have started losing my mucous plug. I know this doesnt nesissarily mean labor is imminent, but I feel like finally, something is happening! (42 weeks 2 days)

I am still here too! My due date was Tuesday, so I am trying to be patient! The midwife is coming by to check on me today. Today or tomorrow would be perfect since DH has a 3 day weekend and will only be able to take off 2 or 3 more days when the baby comes. Wishing everyone good labor vibes!!

Well yesterday was my due date so I am now officially past my due date. Everyone goes back to school next week (my husband, mom and sister) so I'll be alone during the week. I was hoping I would have the baby while everyone had time off.

My due date was the 31st and I'm still here. I had a "stretch and sweep" on my due date but it hasn't encouraged anyhing along as of yet. I'm feeling quite anxious waiting, I hope he arrives soon. I've also started feeling really sick every day now....anyone else have sickness?

i'm feeling a bit quesy on and off myself. i figured it was the hormones + the impatience!

Five days overdue here and I guess I need to move over to the September DDC. ::sigh:: For the last 2 weeks I've been getting all kinds of little hints and feelings that labor may be starting very soon, but still no baby. On the up side my mom is antsy about meeting baby too, so she keeps buying him stuff.

hey jennaleigh,
it was mentioned on another thread, it's a due date club, not a birth date club!

i'm still here too, maybe today, maybe tomorrow?
