Hey guys!

Tobias James arrived on 8/11/06 weighing in at 10 lbs and 4 oz. We were the hospital freak show with our big baby and natural childbirth. Everything is going GREAT! More later and can't wait to read more birth announcements.

Congrats to you!

Tobias was born on my 4 y/o ds birthday!

He was 8'9... "big enough" my body says!

I have a niece who is like a size 4 or 5. Her first baby was 8#. the next was 10 plus and the 3rd was over eleven! All three natural births!

Welcome Tobias! Love those Leo boys!

Way to go!!!! Out of curiousity, did you have to go through a bunch of heel pricks for blood sugars for baby? That's something I'm not looking forward to if we end up in hospital w/ a chunky monkey.

Yay! You should think about the great example you just set for all those that think that babies can't be that big and be born naturally! What a happy baby he must be, too! Congrats!

Yes, he had some blood sugar issues and had to given some glucose and formula (gasp! I was horrified but my doula and a good friend who is a pedi said it was the right thing to do under the circumstances) to get back up to normal. The issue seemed to resolve pretty quickly, but his little heal is black and blue
