I can so relate to this story! My dd did this just a year ago. We're a co-sleeping family and moved our bed to the floor - just a mattress on the floor so dd wouldn't jump off and get hurt. Never did we think she'd pull a stool over and jump off of it onto the bed, miss and land on the wooden floor and break her arm! Fortunately, in our case, she had a "greenstick" fracture of both bones. One little tug set it just fine and she was great for it. She was casted a short period of time. As toddlers, they are growing so fast that they heal quickly. She was 3 when this happened. I am lucky that dd is so verbal and articulate. She told the doctor all about jumping off the stool and they didn't give us the third degree and insinuate that we were child abusers. All in all, it was a fabulous medical experience.
Fast healing vibes to this little girl!
