Anyone have trouble w/ threads breaking?

My machine HATES Sulky thread. I have a Babylock Esante, and everytime I try to use Sulky thread for embroidering, it breaks. I have no problems with Coats & Clark or Gutterman, just the Sulky. I've tried the freezer trick. but it still doesn't work.

I just get so : from it sometimes! I have limited colors right now, but I'm slowly getting more in the other brands.

I don't know much about embroidering, but I do remember when I had thread snapping problems everyone suggested I adjust the tension. I did, it worked. Since you know crazy things like freezer tricks, you probably already tried that. sorry no help if so.
