I did not feel the need to write my birth story because my photos says it all so beautifully, there's simply no need for words.

So here's the slide show I've been working on:

Thanks so much for sharing that great gift with us!!!

I am in tears from the beauty and magic of it all.

I loved watching little Samuel pink up, I found I was holding my breath through those pictures...

How big was he? He seems so nice and rounded!

Enjoy!

What an AMAZING birth! From what I could tell, you had lots of back labor. Your family is beautiful.

Actually I did not have back labor this time. Yes, my back did hurt, but nothing like back labor with my first one. The most back labor I had was when he was descending down and I was in a wrong possition. As soon as I went into squating possition it went away.
I had very strong pushing urge.....which I did not experience with my first, I basicly pushed him out myself without my body helping me, if that makes sense.
This time it was SO STRONG! It was amazing experience the pushing part. It absolutelly amazes me how much power and energy our body can produce! WOW!

That's nice you didn't have back labor. I've never had back labor, but all the mamas have told me the hands and knee thing worked best for them. Tha'ts awesome you let your uterus do the pushing work for you!!!

Congratulations! What a beautiful birth! My favorite picture was you holding him right after he was born. You were looking off to the side at someone and your face was filled with pure joy! Gave me chill bumps!

Casey

P.S. It makes me want to post my slide show! I might work on that....

Beautiful. I teared up too, at that picture where you are looking over your shoulder, while holding your baby, and just BEAMING!

Thanks everyone!! I am really glad I have all those beautiful photos! At least something good my MIL did while she was here!

About being on my hands and knees - the reason for that was that it was helping to get the pressure off my cervix. Plus it kept contractions at least 3 minutes apart! But, not very effective unfortunatelly. I was trying to gather my strength and change possition, but it was hard because I was really comfortable like that. As soon as I turned into squat they were on top of each other. And soon after that he was out.
