Mamas making money on GPT websites.... - Page 4

you're welcome harpyr. I'm not familiar with a site that compares offer earnings.

I do most of my freebies through dealbarbie even though they pay slightly less (some, not all) because they approve so well there. I'm far better off doing 10 $1 offers and all of them approving than spending the same amount of time doing the same 10 offers elsewhere that pay $1.40 each & only 2 or 3 of them actually crediting.

I do compare prices on trial offers but I don't do all of them at one place. I prefer to spread them out over 2-3 sites.I might loose a dollar or two by doing this but it's worth it to me.

hmmm.. It's entirely possible that I'm imagining things.. I've read so much these past couple days that my brain is feeling alittle overloaded with this gpt buisness..:
The particular offer that bugged me was the stamps.com trial. I got 16.50 from dbp when fusion cash was offering 20.00. A relatively minor difference but the odd dollar here and there really does add up.
I got one of the simon gift accts with $20 and used that on some trial offers and now I've got about $70 approved on three sites. :
I kinda took a leap of faith with that $20.. I won't be investing anymore till I get paid.. but I can definetly see how if one has some money to put in that there are some tidy profits to be made....

Is there a freebie family list anywhere? I think I've got some of them figured out but I'd love to see a definitive list

Here is a list of Freebie Families. Not sure if this is comprehensive though...there may be more:

Consumer Beat
Winning Surveys
My Insider Deals
My Select Gifts
Opinion Direct
Consumer Promotion Center
Brand Survey Panell
Consumer Expression
My Elite Rewards
Rewards Gateway
Savings List
Net Panel

Is anyone else uneasy about giving these sites your home address? Just wondering...

hi all! I want to thank sherrie for the tutorial!

Anyway, for about 3 days i've been on fusioncash, so far, i've done a lot of the instant cash offers, and i'm up to $100.00 so far! I got the simon visa, which makes spending trial money not so hairy.

Some of you pros...what's your method to the cancellation madness? I tried to cancel Bargain Homes the other night & got the serious sell from the guy on the phone. i was suckered into keeping it another day to evaluate it. the next day i called & got an automated cancellation system via phone (which i dont really trust...)

How many cancels give you the hard sell?

Also, i tried cancelling one of those weight loss pill free trials. and the lady said my account was at shipping, and they wouldnt get the info for a few days, to call back... is that a scam to hope i forget to call & Cancel?

hi, I'm here I've made about $150 in a week, and I haven't spent much time on it. That is on freebies and a couple of free trials. I can see this becoming quite lucrative if I can stick with it, and not get bored of it!

I just started all this GPT stuff... and I'm feeling the same way. A little reassurance, somebody? I did see what one of you wrote (Sherrie, was it?) about not really getting extra crap in the mail, but it still bugs me to be putting my home address in so many sites.

I've just started too and unfortunately I've had to give out my real home phone #. It sucks b/c already I've been called twice today by the same company (Thank goodness for Call Display!!) and the salesperson left a VERY pushy message. I can just forsee being innundated with calls (I live in Canada and it wouldn't let me sign up using the free internet number). Shoot!

I am a bit wary of giving out my phone number...I'm not sure how I can get around it.

Hi all...
Thanks to Sherrie for the tutorial!
I'm just starting to dip my toes in the water and have not made to much yet. Key word being yet. It's seems a little more difficult doing this from Canada as I can't get a free phone number. I won't give out my reall home # as I can't stand the ringing! And I have to actually go out and purchase a prepaid credit card because Simone is for US residants. By the time I walk downtown I forget what I've come for and buy stuff I don't need. LOL. And it seems that most of these GPT sites are for US only, and a lot of offers are for US only too! So I've managed to make a few bucks for now with the freebies.
Good luck to all of you!

I'm glad my tutorial has been helpful. That was the plan

I'm really hoping that the sites are able to start catering more to Canadians soon. I know that IPz has some trial offers that are strictly for those in Canada. I haven't seen this on other sites.

I don't mind giving out my home address. I've seen very little extra junk mail come through the postal service. I might get 1-2 extra letters per week. The bulk of "junk" arrives via email which is why you should not use your main email account on freebie offers.

I wish you guys in Canada had access to a free phone number like that at netzero. I know there are other programs similar to Netzero's PrivatePhone that offers a phone number for a small, monthly fee. If I didn't have the option with Private Phone I would definitely pay for a similar service just to avoid all the phone calls. This might be an option for Canadians. I'll do some detective work and see what I can find out.

I'd love to see a list of which freebie surveys are in each family - because it seems like you need to use a different email addy with each survey in the family, otherwise only the first will be approved. Does that make sense? I've noticed especially the Consumer Promotions "family" seems to "remember" my info. These are the ones I've noticed in Consumer Promotions:

Consumer Promotions, Consumer Expressions, Rewards Gateway, Your Gift Cards, and My Select Gifts.

Also, these look similar to Winning Surveys, but I can't tell if they are in that family: Consumer Expressions, Survey Networks, and Opinion Direct. They just look the same to me.

Any thoughts about these groupings?

I had signed up on Deal Barbie Pays and had signed up to fill out some surveys but those offers were denied and the reason stated was "no credit issued". What does that mean??

Ditto what Sherrie said!

I'm curious about the way you worded this....you said you signed up to fill out some surveys...did you mean that you filled out that little box under the offer thinking that you thought you were signing up to complete the offer, but hadn't actually completed the offer yet? The way you worded this is making me think that might be what happened. If so, you are supposed to click on the banner ad *first* to complete the survey, and THEN enter your name in that box.

Disregard if I read it wrong.

Although these may look alike, I do believe all the above are considered different families. Are you clearing your cookies or using CCleaner between doing each and every freebie? If you are going to do more than 1 in a family, you do have to enter a different email address on each one after the first, but did you read Sherrie's post about using the periods in your email address? This helped me greatly! You won't have to sign up for a million email addresses and I got a bunch credited by Winning Surveys doing this.

I did this at DBP before I figured it out.

I did too
I totally hated the way the site was set up at first, but now that I know what I'm doing, it's my favorite.

Deal Barbie Pays:
-Users who meet our minimum payout of $20 by the last day of each month will be paid by the 25th of the next month. On some occasions it may be later depending on the volume of payments going out.

-Ex. If you earn $20 and request a payment on May 31st, you will be paid by June 25th.

-Cashouts must be requested by 11pm est/10pm cst the last day of each month to receive payment the next month.

-Payments are sent via Verified Paypal & Check.

Instant Profitz
You may cashout as soon as you earn above $20. A button will then appear on your account page, allowing you to cashout. Payments will normally be issued on or around the 20th of every month for the previous month's earnings. In order to get paid the proceeding 20th, you must cashout before midnight EST on the LAST day of the month (eg. cashout by Nov 30 to get paid Dec 20). Paypal payments will be issued much quicker than check or PNC Gift Cards, as the latter relies on the US postal system. You may delete and re-cashout as many times as you would like in a month; you will not lose any money by doing so.

HTH!

ETA: This is pretty standard practice for many GPT websites. If you cash out by the last day of the month, you will be paid around the 20th of the following month.
