I thought I posted this already, but apparently it disappeared...

With my son I correctly predicted his due date to the day. I went into labour a few days earlier though, so I thought my foresight was foiled. Nope, just a long prodromal labour that was really long and tough

With my daughter I was waaaaaay off. I think hope for another early baby won out over intuition!

This time, this is my prediction:

Girl, born April 2nd, at 935am, weighing 9 lb 8 oz. Healthy and good birth. BOY! Born April 2nd at 1413, weighing 9 lbs 3 oz. Good and healthy birth!

Anyone else have any predictions for themselves?

OK, since it looks like its twins, I gotta make 'the first amendment' to my post. So now I say a boy and a girl, both with lots of hair, girl being 7 pounds 4 ounces, boy 7 pounds 9 ounces, and they will arrive naturally on April 22 at noon.

This time I think its a boy and will be born April 17th early evening. 8 lbs 12 oz.

For the longest time I keep seeing the numbers 410. I often wake up at 4:10 am (as does my dad...odd, huh?) I was born on 4/10.

So what the hey, I'll say my baby girl will be born on 4/10 at 4:10 in the morning! She'll weigh around 6 pounds.

My second "prediction" is that she'll be born on her due date, March 28th, at 4:10 (morning or afternoon, doesn't matter...just gotta get that 410 in there! )

I reserve the right to change these predictions as soon as I have my prophetic dream!

(Of course, I've had a run of "boy" thoughts, much more than "girl," but one can hope!)

Place of Birth: A Birth Center an hour and a half away from our house.

I predict that labor and delivery will go relatively smoothly....and I bet that I'll have DH drive me to the birth center way too early because I'm nervous I won't get there in time. We'll end up having to spend the night at the center or a local hotel because I'm too afraid for us to drive all the way back home. I suspect that DH will say that he wants to cut the cord, but then chicken-out when the time comes.

Place of Birth: The hospital across the street from the birth center.

When we got to the birth center, I was already 5 cm dilated, so we certainly didn't get there way too early like I thought would happen. Had to transfer to hospital because I couldn't keep any liquids down and got dehydrated - midwife thought it would be beneficial to get IV fluids, since I was running out of energy to push effectively. Other than that, the labor and delivery was relatively smooth. Had a beautiful drug-free vaginal birth.

Birthday: April 5th
Gender: Female
Place: Home w/midwife and hubby. Kids and my mom will be in the house, not sure if in bathroom with me.
Weight: 8 lbs, 3 oz

It would be neat if this babe would be born early afternoon. I've had a middle-of-the-nighter and an early evening baby, so we'll see. Edited to add that I keep picturing myself laboring with the morning light shining into my bathroom. It hits the mirrors beautifully, so I would love to actually experience this. Also, the 5th is really stuck in my head, so I think that'll be the day, for some reason. I was surprised when I visited this old post and saw that I had already predicted the 5th!

My first was about 10 hours and second was about 8, so, theoretically this one should be about 6, right? Right? Both kids were 8 lbs exactly, so I tacked on an extra 3 oz for this one since I'll be closer to my edd than ever before. First was 39 weeks, second was 38.5.

If I could go into labour at about 8 a.m. after a perfect night's rest and then birth baby at about noon, that'd be perfect, right?

Of course, I know that's silly, but...........guess who's for sure getting lucky on the morning of April 5th if baby hasn't arrived yet.

Boy, April 1, 12:20 am, at home waterbirth, uneventful labor (not including me passing out from assisting DW in our 1st delivery)

Hmmm, 2/3 came a week or more past their due date, but my other April baby came 2 days before her birthday. I think I will stick with a week late.
