Sort of firsthand...well not really.
Dad's got cancer. He's been unable to keep anything down for about the last month even though he's at max dose on antinausea meds. He started Zeolite last Thursday. Didn't throw up that day, and hasn't since. As of friday, he'll have been off his nausea meds for a week. Mom called me this morning to say that he told her he feels "weird". "Nothing hurts-it's weird."
This after his last CT scan showed that his tumors had increased in size, and his doctor asked him if he wanted to terminate treatment.
They asked Grosset about the zeolite and he was all for it. According to the info we found, it's supposed to pull heavy metals, viruses, and other toxins out of the body through a chelating type action (assuming I'm recalling our discussion correctly-it was a few weeks ago).
Can't help you with the age issue-or the autoimmune question...Dad says the drops are tasteless (and if someone could taste them, he could).
zeolite info is a ways down the page...it has quite a bit of information, but mostly related to cancer (no surprise there.)It chelates and removes heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, and other toxins from your body. It does this in a hierarchical manner. It is most attracted to lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic and other heavy metals. Then chelates out pesticides, herbicides, plastics, and so forth. It also acts as a natural trap of viral particles which stops production of the viruses.
Because it traps the toxins in its molecular structure, it detoxifies without overloading the detoxification system in your body. Because toxins are the underlying causes of almost all cancers, taking zeolite on a regular basis is an excellent cancer preventative. Especially as it will kill any cancer cells that develop.
In addition it traps free radicals in its molecular structure so acts as a free radical scavenger too. It will also help to normalize body pH levels. And helps to boost the immune system as it increases levels of CD4 immune system molecules.
There are some people who claim zeolite is neither safe or effective. As you will see, they are misguided and somewhat confused. To look at it simply, there is no question that it is remarkably effective against cancer. This particular type of zeolite has been used for years by humans for diarrhea so it has a history of safety and use behind it. So safe, it is on the Generally Listed As Safe list of the FDA. So what's the problem? Maybe like doctors, some nutritionists don't like something new that interferes with their program.
I'm not saying it's absolutely wonderful or anything-just relaying what we've seen with dad since he's started taking it, and a little background info. We figured since his oncologist was high on it, it was ok. (right or wrong...)
Hope that helps-hope you find some info on age related safety as well....
