Zeolite / Any experience

Thread Starter
Hi everyone,

Im looking for some feedback or first hand experience w/useing Zeolite liquid drops for detox.

I an considering trying this on my 3 yr old son but am being cautious. Is this something safe for such a young child?

Also, he has an autoimmune disease. Is this OK to use if you have an autoimmune disease?

I did a search here on the forum and couldn't find much information. I searched the Web and found loads but I don't know if its just a scam.

Thanks for your reply's

Sort of firsthand...well not really.

Dad's got cancer. He's been unable to keep anything down for about the last month even though he's at max dose on antinausea meds. He started Zeolite last Thursday. Didn't throw up that day, and hasn't since. As of friday, he'll have been off his nausea meds for a week. Mom called me this morning to say that he told her he feels "weird". "Nothing hurts-it's weird."

This after his last CT scan showed that his tumors had increased in size, and his doctor asked him if he wanted to terminate treatment.

They asked Grosset about the zeolite and he was all for it. According to the info we found, it's supposed to pull heavy metals, viruses, and other toxins out of the body through a chelating type action (assuming I'm recalling our discussion correctly-it was a few weeks ago).

Can't help you with the age issue-or the autoimmune question...Dad says the drops are tasteless (and if someone could taste them, he could).

From www.cancer-prevention.net-the zeolite info is a ways down the page...it has quite a bit of information, but mostly related to cancer (no surprise there.)
It chelates and removes heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, and other toxins from your body. It does this in a hierarchical manner. It is most attracted to lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic and other heavy metals. Then chelates out pesticides, herbicides, plastics, and so forth. It also acts as a natural trap of viral particles which stops production of the viruses.

Because it traps the toxins in its molecular structure, it detoxifies without overloading the detoxification system in your body. Because toxins are the underlying causes of almost all cancers, taking zeolite on a regular basis is an excellent cancer preventative. Especially as it will kill any cancer cells that develop.

In addition it traps free radicals in its molecular structure so acts as a free radical scavenger too. It will also help to normalize body pH levels. And helps to boost the immune system as it increases levels of CD4 immune system molecules.

There are some people who claim zeolite is neither safe or effective. As you will see, they are misguided and somewhat confused. To look at it simply, there is no question that it is remarkably effective against cancer. This particular type of zeolite has been used for years by humans for diarrhea so it has a history of safety and use behind it. So safe, it is on the Generally Listed As Safe list of the FDA. So what's the problem? Maybe like doctors, some nutritionists don't like something new that interferes with their program.

I'm not saying it's absolutely wonderful or anything-just relaying what we've seen with dad since he's started taking it, and a little background info. We figured since his oncologist was high on it, it was ok. (right or wrong...)

Hope that helps-hope you find some info on age related safety as well....

Just came here to post the same thing. I started these drops w/dd2 last Wed. There is a yahoo group devoted to the use of these drops w/TONS of information and Dr. P holds a weekly telephone conference where you can ask questions to him directly.

In the meantime check out these links:

I'm being cautious and our homeopath is monitoring (plus giving dd some other remedies) but I've seen some amazing things in the last 5 1/2 days.

I'll post more as time goes on. Good luck!

Okay, I'm listening!!

I've gotten 2 PMs from Annikate and Laurel both telling me about this, so it looks like I'm going to have to get us some. I have been asking the universe for assistance, so I better start listening

If you go to one of Annikate's links there is an autism study on children where they will provide the zeolite, free of charge. They also offer it at the wholesale price for kids w/autism and other GI issues, and it is quite a discount.

I'm going to talk to my FP about it, he is a great allopathic dr. who is interested in stuff like this.

In the meantime, I'm going to start my older DS and me on this

Can it be used if a child/adult has mercury fillings?

I've read of this stuff a few months back on that link a PP posted (got there researching aloe vera juice actually ) and I am glad you guys started a thread, I'd like to hear more personal experiences with this.

Sorry no experience but a question if anyone knows the answer. We get cat litter here made of zeolite, I saw it the other day when I was shopping & I remembered seeing a thread here before on zeolite. Is it the same zeolite ?

Yes, you can.

Probably. Zeolite is simply a mineral.
That is interesting! I will look into it some more then. Cat litter is very cheap too & it is just straight zeolite according to the label with no deodorants etc.

Okay where's the direct feed to watch Ocean Momma eat Cat litter.

: It's too chewy for me, I'd have to work out a way of extracting it!

Well zeolite is cheap...I'd like to figure out a way to make NCD homemade....

Zeolite is the only substance that dh could tolerate when we made our homemade air purifiers. We used a bag of zeolite hung on a nail in combo with a hepa filter on the top of the air purifier. He was sensitive to coconut and carbon filtering materials and all others except the zeolite. He spent a thousand hours designing this homemade air purifier with the zeolite in it. It was made of poplar wood. We're talking 1991 here...so it was a while back.

I am hearing lots of exciting buzz about NCD. Right now we are doing so much with the chelation of our oldest son, that we had reached our limit on doing more but....all this talk is so tempting.

I checked out the study, and you have to have a child with an autism diagnosis to participate and you can't be using other chelators for the study. Whaaa.

I'm interested in hearing more about this too. Our DAN ped is starting to talk about it some, but I've been reading on another mailing list that NCD Zeolite actually contains aluminum silicate or something like that and that the people promoting it are using questionable MLM tactics and making unreasonable claims. But then others will chime in and say that it is working wonders. One researcher, I forget who, is saying that Zeolite may be working in some other way than chelating such as possibly as an antiviral.

We may or may not end up using it. I am supposed to discuss the issue with the ped at our next appt.

RE: concerns about aluminum

Quote:
Is there any possibility of the aluminum being released because of this?

Absolutely not. The aluminum is in the middle of the tetrahedron of oxygen. So imagine you have a pyramid that’s made of oxygen with aluminum in the center of that pyramid. It’s what they call non-exchangeable aluminum. We have done studies where we have re-captured 100% of the aluminum as it came out in fecal matter and urine from the patients, and additionally we found that it would excrete additional aluminum, which means that the zeolite is pulling aluminum out of the body in addition to the aluminum contained in the product itself.
From here.

Amy, (or anybody else!)
I just ordered some more from here. THis is BY FAR the cheapest that I've seen it anywhere. My homeopath charged me $60 for our first bottle.

Oops. Here's the quote re: using it w/amalgams:

Quote:
Yes, Waiora (the company that makes NCD) says it's OK to use the zeolites if you haven't had amalgams removed. Here is an excerpt from an interview with Rik Deitsch, chairman of their Science Advisory Board:

Q: What about mercury fillings, stents, joint replacements–things that people are concerned that might be affected by the NCD?
A: The zeolite in the Natural Cellular Defense attracts and traps small, highly-charged particles that fit into the pores and channels of the zeolite cage. Understand that this is a passive process – when the zeolite is in close proximity to these compounds, they will be drawn to the zeolite and either absorbed into the cage or adsorbed onto the surface of the zeolite. There is no chemical activity in this process. The zeolite will not be drawn to compounds in an effort to 'rip' metals away from them. In other words, the zeolite will not leach mercury from dental amalgams. If, on the other hand, the amalgams have already released free mercury into the system, the zeolite will have the ability to trap and remove it.
Again, the activity of the zeolite is entirely passive. It will not attack dental fillings, hip replacements, breast implants, etc.. In an entirely passive process, the zeolite will act like a magnet - drawing high affinity atoms and compounds to itself.
FWIW, I still have 4 amalgams left in my mouth and I worry about them constantly. DD is still b'feeding and I've concluded that to wean her now because of them would be more harmful than to continue nursing her w/them.

krissi,
We have our first DAN appt. scheduled for mid-October and I'm also going to be interested to hear what he has to say about it.
