Will you be doing this again?? - Page 2

Absolutely NOT!

I knew I was done at two, but going through this recent pregnancy/birth has solidified that decision.

No, I think we're done. I am NOT a good pregnant person-I was exhausted and sick the whole time, plus I think two is enough for the both of us. I, too, am feeling a little sad at not having another 'birth experience'-this labor and delivery was much easier than DS1, but we're going to count our blessings and call it a day in the baby-making department. I am doing all I can to cherish every last 'baby moment' with our newborn.

I know I'll miss this awesome feeling of growing a whole new person.
I'll have to join in here with you...
We talked about only having one child, and after being pg and giving birth, I still feel that way! I know some people change their minds, and I can't say that I won't, but DH and I are really into the one child family, and for now, I can't see us changing our minds anytime soon.

3 girls, we're officially done:

Peace.

We're talking about #3. We'll probably have one or two more. It's funny, we thought we were done after our first. We both have had a big change of heart.

Yup, probably one or two more, depending on what #2 turns out to be. We really want at least one boy and one girl, you know? We've also considered adopting further down the line. I've really enjoyed being pregnant... well, up until the last week or so, when I felt D-O-N-E! But we haven't decided on how to space 'em yet. Guess we'll meet the first one (today, please, baby?) and work from there.

I think we are done. I am 36 now, and now that dh is finishing his advanced degree, I am thinking I can slow work down to enjoy my time with my little ones, and then go back to school myself when they are in school. Besides, this pregnancy has been very difficult on me emotionally. I have been a stark raving lunatic and very mean for a lot of it. I don't think dh could handle another one like this one as he took the brunt of my emotional outbursts!

This is only #1 for us, so we'll definitely have another.

In fact, I'd love to be pregnant within the year, but we'll see how fast my fertility returns (it took 2+ years to get pregnant with #1).

Not as sure as I was

Literally less than an hour after DD's birth two years ago, I was telling DH "That was fun, let's do it again!" He still teases me about that.

While pregnant with DS (10 days old now!) I was quite sure I wanted two more kids to follow - I just had to convince DH.

But that last month of pregnancy was much harder, now that I've got a toddler to chase around. For the first time, I was *done* being pregnant.

And now, I'm still trying to figure out how to juggle the needs of a newborn and a toddler. Trying to do this with another child (or two!) seems like an impossibility.

So if I had to decide today, I'm not sure what I'd choose. I figure (hope?) that one I get my groove back, this will seem like a piece of cake and I'll be willing to jump back on the horse again. I still like the *idea* of four kids....

ROFL!

I have always wanted 3, and #3 is still cooking but lately I've been thinking that - as hard as it is and has been- it's a shame to think that this is it. Such a final decision to say we're NEVER having anymore... maybe one more?
But realistically, I don't think we could do it financially. I'd like to be able to give the three kids everything they need without thinking twice, I'd like for them to do all the sports and activities that they enjoy. I don't think we could afford for 4 kids to do that:
