Hehe, remember I said it took me about 3 months to make that thing!! It had TONS of tiny cut outs and I hand drew most of the patches (like the center chest one) and though it's hard to see, it had tiny lines of detail....(I'm kinda AR when it comes to some things...)
Of course I could make it faster now, since all my pattern pieces are copied onto a more durable 'mylar film'....and now my younger son (who is now 2) wants me to make a 'new' one just for his halloween costume! /sigh...
I wish I'd had the flashing lights on it when I took the pics...they looked really cool!
The now 4 year old wants a 'Jack Sparrow' pirate costume, I told him 'we'll see'....At least most of that is black eye makeup and a few loosely tied bits of fabric to duplicate a sloppy pirate look.
