fish oil omega-3 supplements?

Does anyone take these? I've read that Omega-3 is important when you're pregnant and postpartum, and I asked my midwife about it. She suggested supplements, although she didn't suggest a brand. I bought some, and on the package it says to take 3 a day, but I'm not sure if I should take that many since I'm pregnant. I need to call my mw...

Just wondering if anyone has taken these, has any suggestions on how much to take, have heard anything about them, etc.

I don't know if you are a vegetarian or not, but I'd thought Id reccomend Hemp Oil They are a good alternative. I have taken fish oil caps in the past years and found they gave me terrible heartburn.
Help oil contains Omega 3, 6 and 9. I have read a lot about how important this is for proper brain development.

I take Coromega, which is a fish oil supplement that comes in little individual packages and has a delicious orange flavor. I take one a day.

Are you thinking of taking capsules? I have heard that these are notorious for going rancid, and every source I have read recommends biting into each capsule before swallowing to make sure they haven't gone bad. Yuck! It is also worth buying a good brand and making sure that the product is properly distilled and purified to remove any heavy metals. I think talking to your midwife about it is a good idea. She might have a brand to recommend. (I recommend Coromega, but it is pricey.) Hope that helps!
