Being a Foster Parent

I've searched the forums for discussions of foster parenting, but didn't really find anything. How many foster parents do we have here on MDC? My DH and I would like to foster in the future, and I'd like to read more about others experiences. Maybe we could start a tribe or a sub-forum. Anyway, I have lots of questions, and would like to 'meet' other foster families on MDC.

We are very interested in foster parenting. I have been speaking with the social workers in charge of setting up fosters but we are still adjusting to having two children of our own. Once we get settled in we are going to hopefully pursue it more.
