Hello everyone!

DH, DD and I are looking forward to welcoming #2 around May 4th. While I am thrilled, I am quite nervous as it has just been DD for sooooooooooo long . . .

Well, plenty of months ahead to worry about these things! For now, I am both queasy and excited, all at once!

They are 5, 4, 3 and 22 mos. I had them in just under 4 years. We have been taking a break for awhile and are ready to have another one. I know reading their ages might make you go whoa!!! but its really wonderful. I feel very blessed.

Actually not at all, it encourages me. We started later, I am 33 now, and we would like to have a bigger family. Its funny because I don't feel old, but recently someone who is younger than me and has a 9 year-old looked at me and said you must have been really old when you had your children. I was 30 when I had my first. Anyway, as I blab on, I also have fibroid tumors, so kind of need to have them when I can. I would love a big family. That's great that you have 4 boys and are now expecting another, no matter what the spacing. I have a close friend that would die to have her own child but after trying for many many years and is now in her 40s, they ended up adopting an older child when she was in her late 30s.

Best wishes to you. I get crap all the time about my 23 month spacing of my first two, I would love to now deal with those (SILs) with this new 17 month spacing. I have come up with some really good come-backs but they are pretty crass, so I am not going to go into them here. Their children are 5+ years apart, and have nothing in common.

Peace. Still not completely sure that I am PG or not. This was completely unplanned, but I couldn't be happier. If you get nauseous at 3 or 4 DPO does that mean twins????

MOMGOTSPUNK!!! Good for you!!! I too get a variety of comments about the spacing of our children. Its good you have your come back comments.

You remind of me one of my dearest friends. She too deals with fibroid tumors; has a daughter and a baby son and is your age! Do you happen to live in WI???

Not sure on the twins...would you like to have twins? I always think it would be fun, but would not want to carry twins.

I am still in a little shock about this and I don't think it has completely sunk in yet that I am pg. We tried over the summer and I was always so disappointed when a. flow showed, but now I keep asking myself, "Is this for real."

Hello! I posted on the roll call thread, but thought I'd introduce myself here, too.

My name is Jill, I have four kids - Nick is 8.5, Victoria is 7, Christopher is 4 and Dominic is just about 22mos. I am due at the end of April/begining of May, this baby was definately planned but I am not looking forward to people's reactions. : Our last baby was born at home, in water and we are planning another homebirth this time. Dom was unplanned unassisted, so just in case I am planning uc, but we will call the midwife and see if she makes it in time!

I love seeing all the momma's with lots of babies! Can't wait to get to know everyone! Lots of to everyone!

Well after all this, AF came. I am sad. Oh well. Yes, I do live in Wisconsin.
Please keep in touch. Best wishes. I am a little jealous of you that you get to be pregnant, and that you have so many beautiful children. My little daughter got stung by something on Saturday, and we ended up in the ER with her eye and half her face completely swollen. She is a little worse for the wear today. She can not open her eye at all, and it is completely swollen really big. Peace.

I understand the jealousy...I am so sorry af showed up. I feel your disappointed. We tried to conceive for a few months and I took it hard everytime af showed up. Hang in there!

Sorry to hear about your little girl. She will be in my prayers.

I'm also due the end of April or the begining of May. I'm a member of the April due date club, but I have a sneaking suspicion it will be May... This will be my first so I'm expecting the pregnancy to be a little long. I'm so excited though!

Tentative joining

Well, I may be joining too early, but I need the support. I've been spotting for about a week. But I took a pregnancy test this morning because I knew I ovulated from temperature charting and it had been 14 days since I ovulated. And I never have a luteal phase longer than 12 days unless I'm pregnant.

On one hand, I'm really excited because this was our first cycle trying to get pregnant. I was not expecting that! It took 16 months +Clomid to get pregnant with my daughter. On the other hand, the spotting has me worried. It's very light and pinkish. But spotting is never a good sign, you know. And I haven't experienced any symptoms other than mild cramping which could indicate anything. So, please, send some prayers my way if you get a chance.

Based on ovulation, my due date should be May 8th. Of course, my daughter decided to come at 36 weeks, so we'll see...

's to Jenn..Spotting isn't always a bad sign, infact my grandma ALWAYS had her period during 3 of her 11 pregnancies, crazy but true! Just to give you a little hope

Thanks Katie.

The spotting seems to have stopped today : And my temp is still up. It's a bit obsessive to keep temping after getting that BFP, I know. But it's so reassuring to see my temp still high. And I feel like if it drops low I'll have some advance warning, you know?

You know, I had spotting off and on with my daughter. And I had a bad bout of actual bleeding around 8 weeks--my RE did an internal exam and thought I'd miscarried! So maybe I'm just a bleeder

Sure, I'll join. I'm due 5-5 based on ovulation. Can't wait to find a midwife!!
