Figuring DD with IVF (pg mentioned)

I don't understand how they figure due dates with IVF/FET. If I had my transfer on 8/7 and POAS on 8/15, I would split the difference and say that my DD is May 11.

But I just spoke to a nurse from my RE's office and she said that by the time of the transfer, they consider you 2 weeks pg. I assume that's because they have taken out the time of egg and sperm meeting, etc. For those of you that have gone through this before, is that how they figured yours?

So then that means my DD is April 24. I just want to have a date to focus on.

First of all, congratulations! Secondly, the due date is figured by last missed period (so you're technically pregnant for two weeks before you're really pregnant). It's just the way every doctor does the math.
The day of retrieval counts as ovulation, and because your 'last period' is a totally moot point when you're cycling... it's just arbitrarily two weeks before ER.
