The Pink Book

This is an informative link to the CDC's Pink Book chapter on all diseases for which there is a vaccine: http://www.cdc.gov/nip/publications/..._pink_full.htm

The chapters also include information on each vaccine.

Good link.

Can it be stickied?

Ya know, it really should be sticked - we refer to it so many times over the course of the week and this link is an appropriate starting point (and reference point) for anyone wanting to learn about the disease.

The parents on this forum prefer (and refer to) the Pink Book chapters because they are not misleading, scaremongering and "sugarcoated" like the Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) which are handed out at the ped's office. When you compare the two, you'll see that you'll learn a heck of a lot more from the Pink Book chapters.

I think it would make a great sticky too. Thanks for the link!

Is there a way to sticky this in the main vaccination forum as well?

Unstickied and closed, because this information is now part of the resource thread.
