New numbers and panicky question

My HCG was 166 today, and the nurse said that progesterone and estrogen looked great too. I have my first ultrasound on September 12.

But tonight I went to pee and had a little pink on the tp. Why? Should I be concerned? What's going on? Anything?

It's scary but hopefully nothing. Lots of pregnant women have some blood and mostly it is fine. I hope that is the case for you ! Did you call your dr or mw ?

Thanks, OM. I called my RE this morning, and the nurse said that they would be worried if it was red or if I was cramping. Otherwise she said that it is very normal and that I just have a lot going on in my uterus right now. She also said that my cervix is very sensitive and inserting the Estrace might irritate it just enough to bleed a little.

I had some pink this morning, but none since.

Phew! I just never had it when I was pg with DS, so it freaked me out!

I would say that babe is just "diggin' in" for a comfy ride. No worries, I had light spotting too!

What kind of progesterone are you on? The suppositories always gave me some light pink spotting.

Congratulations!!!

A friend of mine is having some spotting from progesterone suppositories as well. It's always just been light pink spotting on the TP that goes away fairly quickly. She's almost 12 weeks and baby is fine!

I had some spotting a day or so before I found out I was pregnant... implantation bleeding.

Your doctor's nurse is pretty much right.... if it's not bright red, don't worry!!

Congratulations!!!!

Thank you, Brenda, Lori, and KrystalC. After yesterdays pink, nothing more!

No progesterone suppositories here. Just a shot in my hiney every night!

Megan,

So glad to check in here (after our much-needed week away!) and find things are going well with your pg! yay!!

I wouldn't worry about the pink spotting, esp. since it seems to have stopped. I agree it is probably just your new little one getting cozy!

Can't wait to hear details of your u/s!!
