Has anyone ever tried sewing a folded pre-fold as the internal soaker in a regular (not pocket) fitted? I got some very used pre-folds from a very nice lady for free and was wondering if that would work for the large fitted diapers I will be making. The newborn, small and mediums (which he's in now) all have micro-fiber as the internal soaker and they work great but I figure if I can recycle and save money at the same time I might as well try it. I know some people use them in pockets but I didn't like those. I was worried about how well they would wash and the drying time. They are the perfect size when folded so that will be fine.
