I think they store everything. - yes, they do. I was able to find my old DDC August 2003...

I am bummed about loosing a lot of mamas from our DDC already!!! There were so many of us, but very few stayed around

Dangitall! The Life With a Babe thread is ok but somehow it feels less intimate. I like our DDC.... it will be hard to keep in touch once it's closed

Although now that I'm spending more of my MDC time on other forums, it's kind of nice to see people I know from the DDC.

Not as intimate and some really snooty, judgemental people. I can't read often because I get annoyed quite often. Reminds me of my days reading at babycenter - except this time it is completely on the other side of the spectrum (super-crunchy vs mainstream).

I hope people will use the yahoogroup!

me, too. Never knew how great a DDC was until baby #3. And some of our babies are not even a couple weeks old! So sad to see it go so quickly!

I imagine it's to encourage participation in the larger mdc community. we have many threads here that would add to other forums (e.g. babywearing forum, diapering forum, life with a babe, etc.) where we could get input from non-ddc members and also provide info for others.

I'm going to miss the ddc, but i do see the point. it's a nudge out of the nest if you will.
