need quick help on elna serger

Hi guys I am totally new to serging. I know nothing about it. I would like to get one for pullups and other kid projects. Someone on Craigslist is selling an elna that has only been used a few times but it is an older one.. could you guys tell me if it is worth 100 dollars and if it will be a good machine?
It is an Elna L4 and is old but not used often

I know that older machines are usually made with lots of metal parts that are really good. I'm not familiar with that Elna, but $100 seems pretty good for ANY working serger.......
