Gilmore Girls 06/07 season

The last wonderful Gilmore Girls thread was really getting long and personally, I was missing posts. So I thought that I would start a new thread in honor of the 06/07 season and most likely the last season of the show.


Anyone want to speculate on what is going to happen this season?

Any ideas on when the new season will start?

Any new dish on the staff changes?

Since CW starts Sept 1 I am going to assume GG will start somewhere mid to late Sept?
Ok speculations....Lor realizes her mistake with Chris goes back to Luke kiss kiss make up. Finds out she is pg and doesn't know if Chris or Luke is the baby daddy

Luke finally wizes up and takes a real pat test with April, finds out he is not that baby daddy but still spends time with her and stuff....

Rory and whats his face, my mind is blanking, carry off a ld relationship fairly well. Rory struggles with creating a new social circle. She also struggles with her friendship with Lane as Lane becomes devouted wife and possibly pg

Suki and Jackson seperate, possibly divorice

All this is why I am not a tv writer

I didn't get to watch much last season since I had school on Tuesday nights but I'm looking forward to this season. I love gg!

I have no predictions but I really hope that Logan stays on even though he is in England. I like to look at Logan. A lot.

They have been having a lot of issues and I think they differ greatly on their parenting philosophies. I know their relationship has always been tumultous <sp?> but it has been escalating a great deal since the birth of their dd. I don't want them to split but its just something I kinda forsee happening this year

On the last thread there was a link to a story about the new showrunner's psychotic stalker past. I hope he is able to handle this series and do it justice.

They're going to overplay the Luke/Lorelai/Chris love triangle thing. I'm not into Logan (too smarmy for my taste) but the new producer or whatever he is indicated they'll still be going. I personally would like to see new developments in the girls' relationship with Emily and Grandpa (can't remember his name right now). That probably won't be the focus though.

I think there will be a lot of Lor/Luke/Chris but L and L will get together in the end..I would love to see them married by the end of the season with her pregnant at Rory's graduation..Maybe Rory and Logan engaged??

I have mixed feelings about Logan..I think he's really growing up..And he is cute!!

There are rumors floating around about an 8th season...

I wouldn't mind an 8th season. as long as it doesn't get stale.

I just read the spoilers, and I hope that the "baby boom" doesn't get too corny. It needs to be realistic and not overdone.

Should be interesting to say the least.
(I vote for Lorelei & Chris, but just because I like to look at him!)

I definitely want Lor and Luke to work it out and finally get married, and I would love to see Logan come back from England 'cause he couldn't stand to be away from Rory. I don't want Rory and Jess to rekindle, only 'cause I thought he was kinda toxic for her. I also don't want Dean to run back in to Rory. He wasn't exactly a healthy relationship.

DH says I'm obsessed and talk about the characters like they're my real family. I think it's because my relationship with my mom is very much like Lorelei and Emily, and I want a relationship like Lorelei and Rory for me and my girls.

And I LOVE DVR, 'cause DH and I can watch House together, and then I watch Gilmore Girls during the day on Wednesdays.
