Gilmore Girls 06/07 season - Page 6

OMG. My former WB channel on Direct TV says, "The WB has merged with ? forming a new network. Unfortunatly, we can no longer offer this channel. "

???? Anyone else? Does this really mean no Gilmore Girls? Surely they will figure this out.

UPN and WB have merged into CW. One of your old channels will be CW. CW will have GG.

Is regular tv affected by this (non cable/direct)?

Yes. The two channels have merged. Look in your local TV listings for CW.

The CW should still be considered a local network and should still be on regular (not cable) TV. The CW launched officially yesterday and it should be available in most areas! But it will be a different channel then the old WB.

I couldn't find a listing under my local channels, either.

I am so not happy.

You may be able to find your local station on this website...

http://www.cwtv.com/
Just click on STATIONS.

Did you have UPN before? When WB and UPN merged to make CW they stuck on the UPN channel where I live.

don't think that i got upn before - could be a problem in my area! ugh!!!

I have regular tv and just discovered that they kept it on the old station. woohoo! (channel 56 in the Boston area).

Yay!

I can't believe some areas don't have it!! That's awful! We got Dish a few weeks ago and I checked and rechecked and rechecked to make sure we'd get the CW since I've been addicted to GG for the last 6 years!!

Cw is actually on 2 channels here right now because we had upn and wb. I'm not sure when they are going to change one of the cahnnels but I'm just glad I willbe able to find it

I have Direct TV and we did not get UPN, and there is no Cw . The old WB channel still has that message "We will no longer be offering this channel." Where's the outrage???

I'd call Direct TV and see what's up. And honestly I'd raise heck until they offered the CW!! That should be on basic programming for goodness sake!

I agree with Stacey I would start the complaint calls because you don't even have to have cable here to watch UPN.

Lor-ror-ei? lol

I don't know. I guess the same way people who are trying to be "funny" call my son Henry "Hank."

I haven't watched ANY TV since mid-May. (Until recently I just went to bed when my son did, and he napped on me, so there was no "me" time unless DH was around.) I really don't miss TV all that much, but I will be making time for "GGs" and "The Office."

I can't wait for Tuesday!
