I record everything and watch it the next day too..It's way less time consuming that way! And we got Dish and a DVR today..I'll probably never watch anything in real time again!!

3 weeks and counting ladies!!! I can't wait!!

We are only starting season 5 here, but I hope to catch up some day.

I'm having a hard tme getting excited. I was sooo disappointed by the end of last season.

Mayebe everyone's excitement will wear off on me.

I'm excited because I'm going to give the writer's a chance to redeem themselves!!!! It can't get any worse you know??? They promised all this stuff with April would be good and we'd love and it's all horrible!! So I'm excited to see them rectifying the situation..Also with the new guy coming in I think he's going to work VERY hard to make GG watchers happy so that should be good for us!!!

I can not stand Logan and I was so hoping Rory would dump him for good after the bridesmaid's thing. And even if they weren't exactly a couple at the time, what does it say about him that he could sleep with all of them during such a short period and talk about how they were nothing?

And he acts like he doesn't want all the money and power from his dad, but what did he do for the newspaper that time? Made a call and dropped his name. And then everyone acted like he was such a hero! He didn't do anything!

I want Paris and Rory to hang out more. I *heart* Paris. I want Rory to find a new guy who is deserving of her. After last season though, with so much focus on class and money, I'm not expecting much this year.

I love Paris too. She is hilarious.

Also I agree that Rory can do way better than Logan. Someone who really loves her. Like Dean.

The creators did leave. I meant all the writers in general and especially David Rosenthal who was a head writer last year and executive producer and a writer this year..

this season has real potential to bomb.hard. or maybe the new writers will help it along. i think last season kinda sucked. but im hoping it will be at least watchable.. GG has become a part of my life. sadly

I am wondering if the suckiness of last season is delaying it's release on DVD. I'd like to be all caught up and watch the new season in "real time" *gasp*.

last season wasn't that great, i agree - the only reason i watched was b/c of logan, sad but true, i just love him and everyone else was annoying me.
hoping that this is a better season and if they continue to be bad just end it and let it rip! i hate to see a good show go down in flames!!!

Ugh, I hate him. I loved him when he was first on the show but after the whole cheating thing, I hate him. I felt so horrible for Lindsey that I cried (while hiding the tears from dh, lest he think I've gone totally off the deep end! ). She was trying so hard and making him meals and he was just such a complete downward body part to her. Plus, he was always so possesive and kinda creepy (in rewatch of course. So it may just be my feeling about him now tainting it).

But a new guy for Rory would be interesting... I'd need Logan to stay around for eye candy though! Especially if this season sucks like last...

When's the exact date of the new season start?

I definitely prefer pre-cheating Dean. But I still like him more than I've liked any of her other suitors.

No Dean no Dean no Dean!!!! BLECH!!!!! ABC Family has been doing the reruns when he and Rory are together..Yuck! I just hate it! The only thing good about that time period is that is when she meets Logan..

I like Logan in general but I do agree that the whole cheating thing sucks. But I think he'll be the one for her. I do see them throwing in someone new to tempt Rory though..Probably Marty!!

I do agree this season could suck. But I think they realized last season was kinda crappy so they're going to try and make up for it this season..

I do love the episodes where Rory and Logan start spending time together! He's just what she needed at that time! She was so serious and he really lightened her up!!

The new season starts September 26th..

Jess made me so angry but I liked him best of the boys in the past. And then this season when he kissed her and she pulled away!!!

Dean makes me think of all my yucky bland high-school boyfriends. I don't like him. He's too shaggy and boring. He's not as smart as Rory too. Jess was awesome (I have a Jess of my own in real life ), but he didn't have relationship skills.

Wow, I'm surprised I am the only one that seems to think that Dean (before the affair) was appealing. Jess was just too mean for me. It always annoyed me that Rory would let herself be treated so badly. Being a royal a-hole rules out any smart factor in my book. Logan is too smug and smarmy for me. Smugness makes me insane.

I should add that I have not seen the last season so Logan may have redeemed himself a bit....AND it's been a while since I've seen any GG so maybe I am viewing the past (aka Dean) through rose colored glasses...
