The vaccines and/or number of doses technically required for school entry in your state most often varies from what your pediatrician will actually administer in accordance with the AAP/CDC schedule.

Thank you for that.

I also know that a lot of schools and doctors blatently lie and say "Well, little Jimmy needs xyz to go to kindergarten!" when that's bs.

Until I set them straight, my own pediatrician's office was telling parents they needed five doses of DTaP for school entry in NY . . . and it's only THREE!

On top of that, up until last year, only diptheria was required in NY. They just added a pertussis and tetanus requirement for all children born on/after 1/1/05.
