Faint HPT line, I have questions **NEW UPDATE!!! POST 178** - Page 2

I'd say it's negative, that that's an evap line as well. Waiting for news of your morning POAS. :

I'd say it's positive. A line like that at 10 dpo resulted in dd, now 16 months!

good luck, mama!

When you retest, get the *most sensitive* test you can find. That should help with a better result. I'm sure there are threads giving that info in Pregnancy...

I'ld have to say it looks like a faint positive to me even though it showed up late. I always thought and evap line was grayish in color not the color the + should be (if that makes any sense)

Hmm. Well according to peeonastick.com, that's a positive. I stand corrected.

I've had evap lines the same colour as the test line ...

I'm wavering. I won't be too surprised either way.

Good luck getting the result you want. At first I read that your DH had his snip 4 years ago, but obviously I misread. If he only had it 4 weeks ago it makes it more likely that it's a +.

subbing because you've got my curiosity piqued! I've also seen that kind of line go either way.

Good luck to you!

we are waiting *tapping foot*

I took an Answer test a few days ago and got a very clear negative. No evap line even days later.

I'm dying to know though, how yours turned out!

It's not valid if it's done after the three-minute window. And yeah, I've had faint positives after the three-minute window that turned out to be ultimately nothing -- a blighted ovum, in one case. I'm not sure this is an evaporation line, but I would definitely wait several days and test again. Oh, and the dollar store PG tests are actually pretty good -- 25mIU/ml testing level.
