Well, my little girl is finally here!
Amelia Violet was born August 23 @ 3:57 pm; 8 lbs, 14 oz. She's doing very well, and well... we're overwhelmed with happiness and exhaustion. The process of laboring in a hospital under an "induction protocol" brought a whole new meaning to the word "labor", but none of it matters now!
She's here, nursing (ALL THE TIME!), and is usually a very easy baby. We're learning all about her and her moods, and are doing generally just great.
Thanks to all the mamas who had advice about the induction process... we made good choices all along the way despite some complications (including total confinement to bed and newly elevated BP's).
Well, she's starting to root.... haven't perfected NAK yet (New mama... is that an excuse?)
