I still wake for most of the grunting and squirming. But I do sometimes open my eyes to see his little eyes staring at me in the darkness (usually in the pre-midnight hours).

Erin's pretty typical... wakes every 1.5-3.5 hours...

The weird thing was me the first week or so after birth- I had the hardest time sleeping, whether she was in the room w/ me or not. I was just wired... the way it's normal for a woman to be the night after the birth... lasted a week for me :

I'm convinced it was something hormonal, change in my metabolism for producing milk, etc ???

I am lucky.

6-8 hours, about 1-3 hours each stretch.

4-6 hours in 1-3 hour chunks. Last night I got 3, then he woke up very gassy and we were up from 4:30 until, oh now! He is napping, but 2 year old is up. Maybe this afternoon when she naps, he will sleep again, and I can nap!

I get about 4 hours, broken up. Not because of my august baby, nooooo, it's my toddler doing me in these days. Ugh.

Louis nurses really good and then sleeps for a solid 4 to 6 hour stretch (don't throw things at me : ). Then he nurses and goes right back to sleep for another couple of hours. It's pure bliss. (At least on the nights that I can sleep! Last night dh and I had a fight, so I was really PO'd when I went to bed and couldn't go to sleep for a couple of hours - then when I did go to sleep, I had a dream that someone was trying to shoot me in a mall. That'll teach me to watch Cold Case before going to bed!)
