whatchya measuring? - Page 2

I know! Its a mystery to me too. I've been thinking a lot about that. I will ask her if she brings it up again. I never did the GTT at all so maybe she is worried? But truly I don't see why. Babies come in all sizes anyway!

I was measuring 26 cm at my 29 week appointment last week. I am a small person, but my midwife still seemed a tad worried. This baby is so active, though, I feel like I have no reason to worry... any one else measuring 3 or more cm small?

Oh my goodness...

don't laugh at me, but I have no idea. Is this bad of me.
bascially the stinking doctor was so quick all he did was pop in for a minute at the end of the visit and measure me then run out out the door, and I never thought to say what am I measuring..
he said something like looks good...
LOL

Grr...I am seriously thinking of ditching my doctor.

If i didn't have a legally binding contract about my intended parents picking my Peri then i would totally ditch my Peri.

I want you to have a homebirth so I'm all in favor of you ditching your Dr. :

As for me.. I haven't been in a little while.. but am usualy measuring about a week ahead, pretty normal!

Apparently I was guessing on my last post. Measured today (27 wks) and was 36cm.

Ok, had 28 week appt today, and I'm measuring 30cm. Woohoo! I want a big baby.

Btw, my doctor doesn't do the measurements... the nurse does. The doctor comes in and talks and that's it. He sits across the room and never touches me!

I go to the midwife next week. I knew I'd grown this week... I just FELT bigger! Like I looked down while sitting and was like "I have a belly!!!" We'll see if I stay 2cm ahead next week. I'm also excited because my midwife will probably palpate me and figure out what position baby is in. She did it at 28 weeks last pregnancy. I have tried to tell recently, but just can't figure it out. I'm 99% sure he's still head down, but I can't tell anything beyond that. I know he's changed positions because I actually feel kicks now instead of just bumps - he was facing straight back before.
