I ended up with the hospital induction. I really had to morn the loss of home birth the night before. I had a baby boy. I was 15 days overdue and was put on the drip at the hospital. I had to lay in the same position the entire time with constant fetal monitoring. Everything I didn't want!! I started the drip and he was delivered two hours later so in the end atleast it is over. There ended up only being two vessels instead of three in the cord so I even had to stay overnight to make sure he peed. My roomy had an epi then said she was two tired to push and begged for a section and got one. At three hours old she was giving her baby a bottle of formula and telling me bf'ing bot going well. Gotta love the mainstream population.

Thanks for all the support throughout

Congrats on your baby!! I know just how you feel. I begged to get up for just awhile. Luckily the nurses bent the rules a little and let me up every hour or so. I'm so glad things went quickly for you.

Thanks. I kept asking to go to the bathroom and then I would take a long time. I was lucky I still had a midwife.
