This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

thought this could use a bump
missmaggie.org - games that have to do with math, geography, lang. arts art, science.... all educationalfunbrain.com - not all educational, but the "math arcade" is a big hit with the 1st-4th grades i teach
rainforestmaths.com - only math, you click on the child's grade level, and then you pick a category of math; they have measuring, patterns, algebra, add/sub division, money, fractions etc.
writingfix.com - geared for all ages, (adults included) click the K-4 link on the right. This is a fun way for kids to get a topic to write about.
starfall.com - great learning to read sight, your kids are probably not at the age where they need this, but they have some activities for advanced readers
Have fun!

My kids are 4th and 2nd grades, they don't have homework from school. I am searching for resource to provide some work for them everyday. Any good sites you know are good? I heard about beestar.org recently, any one knows about it? I tried some sites before but was not very satisfied. so i would like to hear other parents opinion before start using a site. So far, online homework works better for us than workbook.
Thanks in advance. |
