Anyone planning on a VBAC?

Hi all,

I've had two sections and am hoping to have a VBA2C this time around... not sure how supportive my dr will be and we can't afford a midwife so I'm hoping to find a good obgyn soon. Anyone else here planning on a VBAC?

This will be my 3rd VBAC. I had a dr. who was pro-vbac. We are now in a new state, so I am on the hunt for another similar dr. Their is a great midwifery center here that my ins. covers. I am hoping that they are pro-vbac as well, or my hunt will continue.

Hi! I am technically due April 27 but will post here as well since I am sure I will go into May. I am planning a hba2c! I found a wonderful midwife. In my state insurance has to pay for midwifery care. Mine is paying 60% (of $4000).. so we will have to pay a chunk but its not much more than deductibles and copays would be to have a c-section with this insurance.

Me too in CA!

I just found out I'm pregnant today - 5 weeks - with #2 and of course I'm already cruising the preg boards!

I'm planning a VBAC as well... my birth story is posted on my website www.thecomputerdorks.com.

I have a very supportive OB and am excited about this baby!

Take care,

I'm planning a vba2c also.
My OB is very supportive of vbac's in general, so I doubt she'll have a problem with my decision.
