Here's something new for us to try. We'll have someone post a topic each week, let's say by Friday, to stimulate writing ideas. Then we can blog on something related to that topic by the next Thursday. Post a link to your blog on this thread once your post is up. We can read AND COMMENT on each other's blogs.
We can take volunteers to bring up the next week's ideas.

MDC Words of the Week: Write about something you thought *your* child would NEVER do that he or she does (or did).

I have some blogs! They're in my signature. I'm also going to set one up on blogspot. I have one that i write now, but it's a joke one I write from my best friend's perspective, and I'll need to get her permission to post a link to that.

Love reading everyone's blogs. I left comments when I could (I don't have a myspace account, so I can't comment there.) Anybody want to toss out a new idea...jump in anytime.

So... did I kill this thread? Man, that was fast, got to be an MDC record for me

Do you guys want to continue this? I thought it was a fabulous idea I don;t know if I can keep up with a "topic of the week" though, how about bi-weekly or monthly?

Aw, Seren, you didn't kill the thread. :-) We have just had one topic...

How about this idea:
I'll post a topic...frequency to be determined, but I need you guys to help me brainstorm. If you have an idea, email/pm me. I'll compile a list and post a new one weekly/biweekly/or monthly, depending on how many ideas we get to start.
