So we have a big family (8 people)! We do at least a load or two a day. Even though our washer is only 4 years old, it has been giving us trouble for a few months. The warrenty was expired. (We even paid for an extended one!!!!3 years, NOT WORTH IT!)Yesterday it stopped filling with water. It would do everything else, just without water.
We can't live without a washer! We are VERY BROKE right now. Well my dh looked at this washer and dicovered that it only really had 3-4 parts. We looked up stores on the web that sold parts and then found a local store that sold them.
The part was $27 and it took all of 5 mins. to replace the part. There were no tools involved, just a little twist and our washer is good as new.
Moral of this story: Do it yourself and SAVE BIG!!!!
